What is the easiest way for me to install a stack pipe?

I bought this house a year ago. I never realized or my home inspector *&^^&& fool ($ 538) that there was no mains battery. However, there is a black plastic (not PVC) runs in the attic and I'm assuming that goes to the roof vents. I still get the smell of a septic openings floor when the heat pump kicks. This started probably about 6-7 months. There are no leaks and everything that is P-trapped. It only comes from the vent. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. than makes sense what you say about the splitting of water into the vent. I have blocked ventilation and can not smell out of any vents and others are as far as I can see all connnected. Disconcerting.

You should definitely expand the opening of its roof. Do you have duct work flexible in your home? It sounds like you have a smell of "septic Stink" one ventilation? Check that vent. I bet your work will vents that is or was at some point soaked with water and poor water is what you smell. It may be mold or rotting. Mike
