That is the key to making the brand is good?

I am buying a socket wrench set for my husband for Christmas. I'm looking at Stanley, Craftsman and Snap On. What be the best time to obtain a set of mid-range (not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either)? Thanks for any help!

Snap On quality is great, his main advantage, however, is coming to the garage and replace any broken tools at once. craftsman is good quality and last a lifetime. They will replace tools free if they break. Unless you are thinking about opening a pro shop, go with the craftsman. Do not buy Sears Companion, which are the Sears brand of economic instruments China. Most of my tools are Craftsman with some Snap-On and KD. I only managed to break some tools, and were replaced quickly and without question.
