Leather Work
How to fix tears in the seams on a leather chair in the armrests. Both arms are broken. Sewing would work?
I have a tear leather chair in my 5 years old, where the seams are in the center armrest. It looks horrible, but not sure how to do to fix it. I thought about sewing, but not sure if that would be good for the skin. They also thought about glue, but do not know if this is a good way.
Actually can be sewn with a leather needle, if you are a decent sewage system. You can find a needle into the skin fabric stores usually in packs of upholstery and special needles. Ask the store about the type of thread to use because you need a heavy duty thread. But if your sewing skills are not very good, you can have leather tail Store carefully craft and sewing queue. I would not use glue because it simply does not hold for long.
