How do I repair a damaged quicktime file?

A couple of months ago I used recover my files to recover some quicktime files I deleted from my camera. When I opened them in Media player classic it said “cannot render the file”, so I went into a hex editor and opened the quicktime file. I think that the header was damaged and I really dont know exactly how to repair it. Maybye I can re-construct the header, but I dont know how, any help?

My file was encoded as follows:

Resolution: 1280×720

After messing around in the hex editor for like 2 hours I finally got 1 frame of the video to show up and that was it. It said 0:46, around 46 seconds for the leanth of the video.

Your case is a little bit complicated i think, but i once have damaged files also (yeah, some virus damaged my files), and i found this site
