Concrete Blade

I hit a concrete step with my mower and now the leaves do not stay engaged. How do I fix?

The mower is an elderly man Patio 42 "riding mower. The impact of the blades locked and shut down. After I threw the stone, the machine restart. When I engaged the blades again, turned to cut the grass and went, but I'm guessing much slower rate, as they hardly made any noise, and when I got into some taller grass, the leaves seemed to ignore completely. Not tested yet, but obviously there's a good chance the leaves are bent. What else can I check? I read something about a key that could have sheared …. but if that were the case, I'm guessing the leaves do not participate at all. Any suggestions on what to look for? Thank you.

I agree that the blades can be damaged and must be inspected before further use. The other thing is when blades stop this strain there is a tremendous way in the belt and other components such as the pulley and assembly involving the blades. You could have turned some of that. Now, the belt may slip and not turn the pages fast. If the pulley assembly folds may also cause not stay engaged. It sounds like you need to remove the cover and do some inspections.
