Trash compactor? What do you think?
We bought a new house in the country. We will not use the garbage collection service as we can burn. Glass, metal, and plastic will still be in town for recycling. My husband thinks that a trash compactor is a good idea. I see only occupy cabinet space. For $ 400, I'm not sure it's worth. What do you think?
If you are going to burn the trash, I see no reason for the compactor. I agree with you that the loss of cabinet space to store cancel the trash convienience more until it burns. $ 400 to buy a nice "special" appliance for the kitchen.
