What is the best way to supply air to the multiple tank air pump?

Use a valve Band (the number of valves is equal to the number of tanks is running). Each valve can be adjusted to allow air to more or less tank. And if necessary, you can turn the air completely in this particular tank, when necessary. They are not expensive either but it is likely that there is a limit to the number valves are available in a unit (link displays up to 5 but I have seen more in stores). You will need an air hose connecting the valve unit to the pump, then air hoses from the valve unit to each of the tanks. You will need a bomb powerful enough to run all the tanks of a bomb. Talk to your local tropical fish store because they have ups and here and can advise you on what works best (and longest).
