Who is to blame, lawmakers or lawbreakers?
2 cases in the news regarding women being sentenced or possibly convicted to receive lashes for breaking Islamic law. While I agree that the punishment fits the crime and in fact I personally believe that corporal punishment is such barbaric the fact is that both women broke the law of the country in which they lived. So who is really to blame?
I think some are missing point …. and to some extent I agree with you, of course, is barbaric … but one must know the laws of the land, if you will be staying there for a period time is, of course, much more for these countries to enter the 21st century
